Strengthening Kauaʻi Ranching & Agriculture

Our Story

A Legacy of Ranching on Kauaʻi

The Kauaʻi Cattlemen’s Association was founded in 1989 by a dedicated group of ranchers and producers who recognized the need for a unified voice for Kauaʻi’s cattle industry. From the beginning, the KCA has been driven by a simple belief: ranchers and producers working together are stronger than any one operation working alone.

Over more than three decades, the KCA has grown into the leading advocate for Kauaʻi’s ranching and agricultural community. From water rights and land stewardship to livestock management and market access, we have stood alongside our members through every challenge and opportunity the industry has faced.

Today the KCA continues to serve Kauaʻi’s ranchers and producers with the same grassroots spirit that brought our founders together in 1989, because the future of agriculture on this island depends on all of us.

Our Mission

The Kauaʻi Cattlemen’s Association exists to support and strengthen Hawaiʻi’s cattle industry through education, advocacy, stewardship, and collaboration.

We are committed to promoting sound ranch management, improving herd and pasture practices, supporting local ranchers and producers, and preserving the future of agriculture on Kauaʻi for generations to come.
